1980 Armenian Genocide Cinderella Stamps Revenue full sheet
You get a complete sheet of 20 identical stamps, showing the memorial complex of the 1915 Armenian Genocide located in Yerevan and twin peaks of Mt. Ararat.
These were not used for postage, but instead were intended for advertising publicity, a fund-raising promotion, or revenue.
The entire sheet measures about 5 x 9 inches, perforated and apparently lightly gummed, with selvage at the top. NEVER HINGED.
Issued by the Armenian National Committee of America, headquartered in Washington, DC and Boston.
Dated 1980 for the 65
th
anniversary and inscribed as issued by the Armenian National Committee.
